We are looking for a Salesforce architect who will play a key role in maximizing the effectiveness of our CRM. This role will be responsible for creating and delivering CRM and workflow solutions using Salesforce/Apex, Force.com, Visualforce, and J2EE technologies. You’ll manage the detailed design of Salesforce-related projects from inception through production using LUCID diagrams, managing documentation, and applying best practice methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating across teams to identify business needs and translating them into technical solutions
- Leading Salesforce architecture and technical team; designing, creating, and enhancing application architecture and helping the client shape the architectural vision and roadmap plan
- Designing and communicating the solution framework to the Salesforce development team
- Creating proofs of concept to help the client understand the proposed solution and drive the solution meetings
- Understanding user stories and providing accurate workload estimates
- Working in a consultative fashion to improve communication, collaboration, and alignment between teams
- Staying current on Salesforce releases, new features, and product roadmaps
- Assisting in release management activities to improve release practices, processes, and projects
- Managing other project duties impacting Salesforce solutions as assigned
Core Strengths and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, a related field, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience managing Salesforce implementations (any cloud)
- Platform Developer 1, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder certified
- Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Lightning Web Component, Integration, or other related certifications or knowledge
- Understanding of APIs and integrations (REST-SOAP, JSON-XML, etc.)
- Direct experience with SFDX and Git repository
- Expert-level experience managing flows, data migration, and AppExchange products or packages to improve business processes
- Direct experience working on CRM projects for middle-market and enterprise-level companies
- Demonstrated progressing leadership throughout the full life cycle of software development
- Successfully works in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Multitasker with experience working in an Agile development framework
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Effective communicator (both oral and written)
- Works productively in a traditional professional office setting and able to operate personal and computer equipment
- Availability for occasional overnight travel
- Ability to manage a work schedule determined by project timelines with availability to work outside of normal business hours is essential
